Bangladesh
"Too many rivers to count"
During the summer of 2000 I received a grant from the Center for Development and Research of Bangladesh. This grant allowed me to tour Bangladesh, and members of the CDRB brought my group of grant winners throughout the country; from villages, banks, temples, colleges, hospitals and over and through many rivers we explored this incredible country.
The art included in this series serves as a collection of experiences, meditations and reflections on our journey. Much of the imagery was created during the trip, but the finished mixed media work was assembled in the two weeks following the trip. This work was exhibited at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ.
