During the summer of 2006 my wife and I drove across the United States, visiting friends, family and many incredible sites. We created art in the car, on picnic tables, in the kitchens and bedrooms of our friends and family. The art was made with a variety of techniques: watercolor pastels, pencils, Polaroid transfers and silkscreen printing.
This collection is a simple effort at capturing the real and imagined wonders that we experienced. Much of the imagery is based on the digital photographs we took along the way, as well as the maps we used to navigate our expedition.
