Touch
"Phases, playgrounds and the act of touching back"
I remember my childhood with great fondness. The sensation of moving back and forth, higher and faster on a swing is a great treasure in my mind. Bringing my niece to her local playground for a pushing and giggling session inspired many of these prints.
These previous phases of life return to us as we experience the youth of others. This series of works on paper attempts to reference the phases of the moon, the touching of memory and the sweetness of ice cream. These various experiences all play out in a cloudy drift within this group of artworks.
